CAS SciFinder enhancements
We know being aware of upcoming enhancements to CAS SciFindern is important to you. To help ensure you are prepared to handle questions you may receive from your users when changes occur, we will provide a preview version of the latest release notes below.
Expect a new set of notes to be posted approximately one week prior to each release, which are scheduled every four weeks. Be aware that there may be an occasional change not included in this preview since they are being prepared before the release is final.
As always, final release notes will be added to the What’s New? section in the CAS SciFindern solution in conjunction with the actual release.

Reference Detail UI Improvements
The reference detail page in CAS SciFinder is being enhanced to provide greater clarity on CAS indexing present and make more efficient use of space on the screen.
A new table of contents is present, providing both an overview of the available content and providing quick navigation to data of interest.
Bibliographic information is presented below the reference abstract and is closed on default. There is an option to view more, and selecting this option creates a sticky preference so that the information is presented in full going forward.
"For You" Enhancements
"For You" has been improved with updated logic to present more recommendations to more users.
Structure Precision Search
Structure search logic has been improved to intelligently decide at runtime whether to utilize Smartsearch or Conventional structure search algorithms. This improves both the performance of queries and the quality of results.
CAS Lexicon Search Enhancement
The CAS Lexicon search page has been updated with UI enhancements to help guide users through the process of creating a query. The interface now describes the two-step process to identify relevant concepts and add them to a query.
