Why do I get more (or less) answers in my Alerts with CAS SciFindern than in my Keep Me Posted (KMP) alerts with CAS SciFinder®?
Some filters applied to KMP alerts in CAS SciFinder may not transfer to Alerts in CAS SciFindern. You may need to review and modify your Alert search strategy.
Why did my reaction structure search only return single-step reactions?
Use the "Get Reactions" button from a substance record to retrieve the most complete set of results, including reactions where your substance is the product or reactant, and both single and multi-step reactions.
Where are the Advanced Options for structure searching in CAS SciFindern?
The Advanced Options for structure searching available in CAS SciFinder are now filter options on the results page in CAS SciFindern.
What type of information can be searched using the All Search function in CAS SciFindern?
With All Search, enter keywords, CAS Registry Numbers, patent numbers or accession numbers to retrieve information related to substances, references, reactions and suppliers.
