Marcel Roy Domalanta

Roy is a Ph.D. candidate in coatings and polymeric materials at North Dakota State University, working at the intersection of electrochemistry, polymer science, coatings, and battery and hydrogen technologies. His research focuses on understanding electrochemical mechanisms and designing advanced polymer and fluoropolymer systems for corrosion protection and energy applications. Roy also studies how materials processing and manufacturing parameters influence battery performance and scalability. Beyond research, he is an advocate for science policy and the protection of scientists, with a strong interest in strengthening the systems that enable science to translate into societal and industrial impact.
