Yohei is a Ph.D. candidate in analytical chemistry at Keio University in Japan. His research focuses on developing simple and low-cost point-of-care diagnostic devices, especially for nucleic acid detection using CRISPR technology. Yohei works on paper-based microfluidic systems to make testing more accessible in real-world settings. He is also interested in applying these technologies to healthcare, food safety, and environmental monitoring. Outside of research, he enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds and learning from international collaborations.
