Tarisha Gupta
Tarisha is a Ph.D. researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, working with Prof. Biswajit Mondal. She was awarded the Director’s Fellowship (2022) and the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (2023) to support her graduate research. Tarisha completed her M.Sc. in chemistry from IITGN in 2022, graduating as a Silver Medalist, and earned her B.Sc. in chemistry from the University of Delhi, India. Her research focuses on electrocatalysis and proton-coupled electron transfer for sustainable energy applications, including ammonia oxidation, biomass valorization, and CO2 reduction. Tarisha is currently pursuing fully funded 6-month overseas research with Prof. Souvik Roy at the University of Lincoln. She aims to advance cleaner energy technologies and sustainable chemical processes.
