Hannah is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. Her research focuses on designing selective materials to recover dilute pollutants from complex environmental streams, including carbon capture from air and nutrient recovery from wastewater. She is particularly interested in studying materials across multiple length scales, from molecular-level spectroscopy to system-level analysis. She also enjoys mentoring students and has held leadership roles supporting graduate student success. Hannah earned her Ph.D. from Georgia Tech as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and ARCS Scholar, and her B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, both in chemical engineering.
