Alicia is a scientist specializing in structural biology, computational biophysics, and drug discovery. As a postdoctoral researcher at Weill Cornell Medicine, she studies cellular vitamin A transport using molecular dynamics simulations and machine learning. She also contributes to antifibrotic drug development with Adiutrix Therapeutics. She earned her Ph.D. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she investigated peptide assemblies and amyloid fibrils using solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance. Originally from the Philippines, Alicia is passionate about STEM outreach and mentoring aspiring scientists.
