  • CAS Registry Numbers (new or existing)
  • CA Index Names (new or existing)
  • Substance definitions
  • Molecular formulas
  • Structure diagrams
  • Synonyms

Avoid delays by reviewing CAS Registration Criteria Overview and Registry Number Info Requirements before submitting your request.

All requests are kept strictly confidential. Most requests are processed within 10 working days once all of the information for processing is received.

Please submit the Chemist Consultation - Substance Identification Order Form and relevant chemical structure diagram/descriptive information by e-mail or fax to expedite processing. A unique substance identifier is requested for each substance to facilitate matching the results to your input information.
