The ABA Landslide magazine article Meat the Future: the patent landscape of cultivated meat highlights the innovations by the food industry to look for lower environmental impact, reduced health impacts, and moving to more humane food production practices. However, the process is not without issues. Several new companies have filed for patents solving various problems in the cell-based meat industry, leading to a growing, competitive landscape. In this session, we will:

• Discuss how to apply this information to search strategies.
