Anthony Griffin

Anthony is a postdoctoral researcher in the Qiang group at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). He received his B.S. in biochemistry and M.S. in polymers and coatings science from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. Prior to USM, he worked as a formulation chemist at Dunn-Edwards Paints and later as a research chemist at PPG-Aerospace Transparencies. Anthony then completed his Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering at USM where his research focused on block copolymer self-assembly, additive manufacturing of carbonaceous materials, and upcycling of commodity plastic waste toward environmental sustainability applications.
