Ainoa Guinart Planellas

Ainoa is a multidisciplinary scientist with research interests at the interface of photo- and supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology, and responsive soft matter. This encompasses the design of light-responsive molecular systems that seamlessly integrate with biomaterials, functional sensing and responsive platforms at the biological interface, and adaptable systems for their use in health-oriented technologies. She specifically aims to develop a detailed understanding of how light can be used to achieve spatiotemporal control at the biological interface and to translate this knowledge into functional applications for sensing and personalized medicine, bridging the molecular and macroscopic scales.
