Bio
Jean-Marc Pecourt is a Principal Scientist at CAS. He earned an M.S. in Materials Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, where he studied oxyfluoride ferroelectric ceramics, and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from The Ohio State University, focusing on femtosecond laser spectroscopy of DNA nucleotides. Since joining CAS in 2000, he has applied his multidisciplinary expertise to curate research information in metallurgy, glass, ceramics, construction materials, and electronic phenomena.
