Isabela Alves de Albuquerque Bessa

Isabela is a Ph.D. candidate in chemistry at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Niterói, Brazil, currently undertaking a Ph.D. internship at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), Barcelona, Spain. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of inorganic nanomaterials, including graphene oxide and mesoporous silica, for the development of drug delivery systems targeting glioblastoma. Her interests also include CO₂ capture technologies and the design of biosensors for viral detection.
