Chia-Wei Hsu는 대만 신주에 위치한 국립칭화대학교에서 화학 석사학위를 취득했으며, 휴스턴대학교에서 동적 조합 화학을 전공으로 물리유기화학 박사 학위를 취득했습니다. 이후 일리노이대학교 시카고 캠퍼스와 아르곤 국립연구소(Argonne National Laboratory)에서 박사후 과정을 거친 뒤, 2021년 유기화학 분야 구조 분석을 담당하는 정보 과학자로 CAS에 합류했습니다.
