Who Can Access Analyze
The Webflow permission levels required to view Analyze reports, create goals, and change tracking settings, plus how to request access.
Analyze access follows the same Webflow permission levels used everywhere else on the site. What you can do depends on the role assigned to your Workspace seat.
Permission Levels
- Review permission or above. View every Analyze report, including the site overview, the page details, and Analyze Mode. This is enough for anyone who only needs to read the numbers.
- Designer permission or above. Create and edit tracking goals, in addition to viewing every report.
- Workspace admin. Buy, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the Analyze add-on plan, and change tracking settings.
For the full picture of Webflow roles on CAS.org, see Webflow Roles and Team Workflow.
What Each Role Usually Needs
- Solution marketers and content editors. Review permission covers day to day use: checking how a page is performing, reviewing goal results, and pulling numbers for a report.
- Anyone creating or renaming goals. Designer permission, because goals are configured against the elements on a page.
- Web developers. Designer permission or above, for goal setup and for the build work that keeps click event labels readable.
- Stakeholders who only want a summary. Review permission works, but a short written monthly summary is usually more useful than a login. See The Monthly Analyze Review Routine.
Requesting Access
Submit a ClickUp task asking for a Webflow Workspace seat with the permission level you need, and say what you plan to do in Analyze. A Workspace admin assigns the seat. Adding someone to the Workspace is a licensing decision, so it is not something a Web Developer can grant on request.
What Not to Change
Tracking settings apply to the whole site and affect data collection for everyone. Turning tracking off removes access to historical data, and switching tracking methods can stop collection entirely if the consent setup does not match. Route any change to tracking configuration through a Web Developer. The settings themselves are documented in How Analyze Tracking Is Configured on CAS.org.
