Morgan received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and economics from Emory University (Atlanta, GA) in 2010. She then obtained a Ph.D. in Food Science & Technology from The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) in 2015 under the direction of Prof. Steven Schwartz where she developed liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry methods to study small molecule metabolites in foods and biological samples. Morgan is currently a research scientist under the Personalized Food and Nutritional Metabolomics for Health initiative at The Ohio State University and advances metabolomics research through multi-disciplinary collaborations across campus.
