Anita completed her B.Sc. studies in inorganic chemistry at the University of Szeged, Hungary in 2010. Since then, she has taught medical chemistry at the university, worked for Avidin Biotechnology Ltd. and completed her M.Sc. in pharmaceutical chemistry. Anita joined the university’s Ph.D. program in 2012. Her research focuses on the development of new synthesis methods of peptide-6-amino-D-luciferin conjugates, which can be used to determine the enzymatic activity in different therapeutically highlighted cases. She is also experienced in the synthesis of trifunctional amino acids containing O-glycopeptides, urocortin-3 analogues with potential anti-amnesic effects and cathelicidin analogues with potential antimicrobial effects.
