Suzanne received her M.Sc. degree from Wageningen University, the Netherlands in 2014. Her graduation projects included research into photo-responsive supramolecular polymers at the laboratory of Prof. Aldrik Velders and a project at the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom with Prof. Corrie Imrie in twist-bend nematic phase liquid crystals. After a short period of working as a research and teaching assistant at Wageningen University, she moved in to École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland to start her Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Kay Severin. She currently works on polyfunctional clathrochelates as building blocks for the formation of supramolecular assemblies.
