Examine a Query Sequence

When looking at results, it is sometimes helpful or necessary to review the original query. The input query will display exactly as you typed or read it in.

To examine a query sequence:

  1. Highlight a single result in the Result Set Manager Reports tab or you can right-click on the result set of interest, then select Examine Query from the pop-up menu.
  2. Select Tools > Examine Query.
The query sequence and search parameters display.

Alternate approach: Right-click on the result set of interest, then select Examine Query from the pop-up menu.

Exception: When the query was entered as a sequence identifier, that number displays instead of a sequence.

Multiple windows: Each query is shown in a separate window; however, more than one Examine Query window can be open at one time.
