Nos complace anunciar a los Líderes futuros de CAS 2019. Este grupo selecto de estudiantes de doctorado e investigadores posdoctorales de todo el mundo visitará la sede central de CAS en Columbus, Ohio, este mes de agosto para encender su potencial y abrirse un camino hacia el liderazgo científico .

"Nos enorgullece recibir a la próxima clase de Líderes futuros de CAS; les proporcionaremos acceso a reconocidos líderes y empresarios de la industria como una forma de ayudarlos a impulsar sus ya impresionantes contribuciones a la ciencia", manifestó Manuel Guzmán, Presidente de CAS. "Estos participantes fueron escogidos de un campo competitivo de candidatos provenientes de los principales laboratorios e instituciones de todo el mundo. CAS organizará dos semanas de oportunidades para que ellos puedan establecer conexiones con posibles socios de investigación, familiarizarse con las perspectivas globales y dejarse inspirar por algunas de las mejores mentes jóvenes de la química".

Celebrating its 11th year, the CAS Future Leaders program awards early-career scientists with leadership training and a trip to the ACS National Meeting & Exposition. Frequently Asked Questions

Am I eligible to apply? 

You must be a current Ph.D. student (or plan to be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in 2020) or postdoctoral scholar in chemistry or related science, with a working knowledge of multiple research information tools. 

How do you define “postdoctoral scholar”?

We broadly define postdoctoral scholars as those who are in an early period of mentored training following the completion of their doctoral studies.
