Introduction to STN Basics
Searching STN online is an interactive process. A searcher uses his/her computer to request information from a database stored on STN's computer, and STN's computer responds with what is available in that database. The interaction between the searcher and STN's computer requires knowledge of an easy-to-learn command-based language.
