Predefined Substance Table

Available with STN Express, Version 6.01 and higher for Windows

The Predefined Substance Table feature helps you create a table with a predefined, professional-looking format from an STN transcript with substance data.

Click the Predefined Report button on the toolbar of the STN Express main menu, and select Substance Table... from the drop-down menu.

The Transcript File: dialog box opens. Select the transcript of interest.

Note: The Substance Table includes the following fields: structure, CAS Registry Number, CAS Index Name, and molecular formula. Be sure to display the answers in your transcript in a format in which these fields are available.

Click Open.

The transcript appears in a predefined substance table format. To create a custom table, use the Table Tool.
