Previewing a Report

Available with STN Express, Version 8.4 and higher

When creating a report or table, you may want to know how your selections will impact the documents final content or appearance.  The preview option lets you see the impact of your choices as you go - saving time and allowing you to optimize the overall post-processing output.

You can preview a custom report or table any time after you have chosen fields for your report or table.  Simply click  to display the preview pane.

The preview is based on the first 10 answers selected for the report.  Here's an example:

If you change a parameter, click Update Preview to get an updated view.  Click Hide Preview when you no longer want to see the preview pane.
