Create an L-number from a saved STN AnaVist answer set

Available with STN Express, Version 8.3 and higher 

The Create L# from STN AnaVist wizard allows you to create a fully-functional L-number from a saved STN AnaVist answer set (.xta file format). 


Click Create #L from STN AnaVist in the Results tab of the Select Discover! Wizard window.

The wizard is launched.  Click Next.

Browse for the saved STN AnaVist answer set (.xta file) on your computer or network.

Click Create to create an L-number from the selected file.

A notification indicates when the new L-number has been created.

In addition to searching, the L-number can be used to:

  • Display answers from STN AnaVist in any format
  • Move full-text patent documents from STN AnaVist to STN Viewer via the Evaluate with STN Viewer wizard
