This section describes how to locate general reaction information based on reaction mechanism using Explore by Research Topic.

Use reaction mechanism searching when you want to locate reactions for any type of chemical compound, without regard to specific reactants or products.

Follow these steps to locate relevant reaction information.

From the New Task dialog box, click Explore . |

From the Explore dialog box, click Research Topic . |

From the Explore by Research Topic dialog box appears. In the entry box, type keywords of interest. Click OK.
Tip: Include synonyms in parentheses after the associated keyword.

The Topic Candidates dialog box appears. Select the reference set of interest. Click Get References.

The reference viewer appears.
