Key Contacts who work in academia with access to the web version of SciFinder can view new reports on myCAS to better adjust client and web allocation.
The reports include:

New daily successful access reports: On a daily basis, administrators can monitor client vs. web version access to SciFinder.

New monthly IP detail reports list login IDs and the version of SciFinder being used (client or web); The IP detail reports help to identify who is accessing SciFinder, which version, and for how long. It also helps identify when a user is accessing SciFinder from an unauthorized IP address.

Enhanced monthly successful access reports include combined totals for both client and web usage. This report allows administrators to monitor overall successful access for both client and web versions of SciFinder.

Monthly registration reports that provide user name, e-mail address, and the registration date and time of each user. Registration reports help identify who is registering and whether or not organizations have unauthorized registrants.
Please note: The web version of SciFinder is available for subscription customers only. Access to the web version of SciFinder is being launched to subscription customers in phases throughout 2008. CAS will notify Key Contacts when access to the web version of SciFinder is available for your organization.
