Refine is one of the many SciFinder tools that allow you to explore, evaluate, and review your reaction answer sets. Refining can help you extract the most relevant reactions from your answer set.

When reactions are displayed in your main SciFinder window, click the Analyze/Refine button. Then click Refine. |

Select an option for focusing your answer set. |

- You may refine (and/or analyze) multiple times with any combination of the options.

Include a particular number or range of reaction steps. |
| Reaction Classification |
Have been categorized as a particular type of reaction, e.g., catalyzed, stereochemical. | |
For example, select Product Yield. Then specify the yield or range of yields. Not all reactions have yield data available, so you have the option to retain all reactions that do not include yield data. Click OK. |
