Review the Imported Document Set

Before you begin visualizing, you can view a summary of the document answer set.

To view the document set summary:

1. Import a document answer set.

   

   When the import completes:

   • The Documents section in the Results area is populated with titles. The titles are listed by database collection, in this order:
     1. CAplus^SM
     2. PCTFULL
     3. USPATFULL
     4. USPAT2
     5. WPINDEX (including WPIDS and WPIX)
     6. EPFULL
   • The total number of documents displays in the Documents section and on the status bar. By default, the Documents section displays 50 titles per page. Use Tools > Preferences > Documents to change the default.
   • The Import Summary field enables you to open the Message Detail dialog box, which displays:
     • 
       
     • General information about the imported set
     • Description of the exported documents
     • Description of the imported documents

   Import errors: If you receive an error message following the import attempt, see Errors During Import.

2. If needed, click Browse to locate and open a different import file.

3. Use the scroll bar to move through the titles in the Documents section.

4. If you want to review the details of a particular document, click on a title.

   Note: This activity incurs a charge.

5. If you want to delete the imported answer set without visualizing it, right-click on its project tab and select Close.
   

6. To review and select:

   • Standard clustering options, click Visualize...
   • Custom clustering options, click Custom... on the Visualize dialog box
