For a number of reasons, STN® AnaVistTM may experience errors while trying to import a document answer set:
| Error | Explanation |
| File not in proper format | The file cannot be imported because it is not in eXpress to AnaVist (.xta) format. Choose another file.
Note: Files created in an earlier version of STN AnaVist, i.e., files in Results Key eXchange (.rkx) format, cannot be imported. However, .rkx files can be converted into eXpress to AnaVist (.xta) format by using the conversion feature in STN Express (File > Convert STN AnaVist .rkx file...). |
| File is too large | The number of documents in the answer set exceeds the number that can be visualized by STN AnaVist (maximum is 20,000 documents). Choose another file. |
| File contains records from database collections not supported by STN AnaVist | STN AnaVist warns that the file contains records from collections it does not support. You have the option to continue or abort. If you continue, STN AnaVist imports the records that it recognizes. |
| You have reached the limit of ten tabs. Please close at least one. | You are attempting to import a file while you have ten project tabs open in the visualization workspace. Please close one or more of the open projects; you should then be able to proceed with the import.
Note: You can also receive this error when you try to open a project after you already have ten projects open. |
