Change Password

Regular (Full-Access) Users): Any password change you make in STN^® AnaVist^TM also affects other STN products (e.g., STN Easy^®, STN^® on the Web^SM). STN Express^® users will need to modify their logon protocols to reflect their new password.

Shared (Partial Access) Users): Any password change you make in STN AnaVist also affects STN^® Viewer^TM. The next time you log in to STN Viewer, remember to use your new password.

To change your STN AnaVist password:

First option:

You may change your password by entering the STN command "SET PASSWORD" at an arrow prompt => when you are logged into STN. You will be prompted for your current password, then for the new password, and finally be asked to repeat the new password.

If you are unable to log into STN to change your password, contact your respective STN Help Desk for assistance.

Second option:

Select Tools > Change Password.
On the Change Password dialog box:
- In the Current Password field, type your existing STN AnaVist password.
- In the New Password field, type your new STN AnaVist password. The new password must conform to the conventions for STN passwords.
- In the Confirm New Password field, retype your new STN AnaVist password.
Click either:
- OK to save your new password. The new password will work for all STN products that the user is authorized to access.
- Cancel to cancel the password change.
