ABSTRACT:
Genes showing altered patterns of expression in the brain that are assocd. with the neurol. changes found in Alzheimer's disease and that can be used in the early diagnosis of the disease, including the incipient form of the disease, are identified. The methods and kits of the invention utilize a set of genes and their encoded proteins that are shown to be correlated with incipient Alzheimer's disease.
