The web version of SciFinder has new features that extend its functionality beyond the capabilities of the client version of SciFinder!
The latest release (launched November 16, 2008) now has additional functionality that was not included in earlier releases, such as:
- Categorize references
- Combine answer sets
- Export answer sets in .rtf format
- Reactions display improvements
- Refine substances by atom attachment
- Regulatory information for substances
- Remove duplicate references
- Sort answer sets
- Structure drawing editor - set preferences
- Structure searching - shortcuts from Substance Detail
- Substructure moduling
The web version of SciFinder also has new features that are not available in the client version, such as:
- Download recent session histories
- Export catalog/supplier information for multiple substances to Excel
- Create direct links (permalinks) to answers, answer sets, and Keep Me Posted alerts
- Explore research topics from Index Term links
- View steps to be included in your Keep Me Posted profile
In addition, with SciFinder, you can access:
- More than 29 million preparations, including reactions from several Wiley evaluated reference works, such as EROS
- 1.9 billion predicted and experimental properties, spectra, and data tags, including the recent addition of 23.8 million predicted proton NMR spectra -- the largest single collection available
- More than 24 million commercially available chemicals
- Source of Registration information for substance records indicating the reason and source for first registering the substance (Included for CAS Registry Numbers 97314-93-7 and higher)
