Thomas Faust (2013)

Thomas received his MChem degree from the University of Sheffield in 2008 before moving across the Pennines to the University of Manchester. There he undertook Ph.D. studies in Inorganic Chemistry, including a brief secondment to the University of Valencia. In 2012, he was appointed as a PDRA at the University of Sydney where he is developing multidimensional molecular materials whose properties are chosen to address future world challenges. Throughout his research, Thomas has maintained a passion for designing both discrete and infinite hybrid organic-inorganic architectures to incorporate particular functionalities, including host-guest chemistry, magnetic exchange, redox activity and radical generation.
