Ken is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago, Prof. Jared Lewis Research Group. His project is focused on the development of artificial metalloenzymes for site-selective catalysis. As an NIH Chemistry-Biology Interface Trainee, Ken has been involved in numerous collaborations and outreach efforts. Previously, he was a student-athlete at Carleton College, where he obtained his B.A. in chemistry in 2011. As an undergraduate student, he worked as an NSF-REU researcher at Syracuse University and Princeton University, and as a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. His scientific background is extensive, with experience in organic synthesis, inorganic synthesis, protein engineering and structural biology.
