Anastasia obtained a diploma in chemistry (B.S., M.S.) at the Moscow State University, Russia. While working in the group of Prof. Beklemishev, she developed a sensitive method for polycation determination in water using Rayleigh light scattering. Anastasia participated in summer internships (2012, 2013) at the University of North Dakota, conducting research on kinetics of trace element atomization during coal combustion. In 2014, she started her Ph.D. studies at the University of North Dakota with Profs. Kubatova and Kozliak. Anastasia’s research is focused on the methodology of lignin degradation products characterization by size exclusion chromatography and mass spectrometry.
