Java^TM Plug-in for the Web Version of SciFinder

A free Java plug-in is required to use the structure drawing editor in the web version of SciFinder.

Windows

CAS has thoroughly tested SciFinder with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 6 Updates 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10.  To learn more about the plug-in and download a recommended version, visit the Java web site.

Macintosh

For Mac OS X 10.4, CAS recommends Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6, which is available at www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/javaformacosx104release6.html.

For Mac OS X 10.5, CAS recommends using the default JRE installed by Apple.
