Java^TM Plug-in for the Web Version of SciFinder

A free Java JRE (Java Runtime Environment) is required to use the structure drawing editor in the web version of SciFinder.

CAS has thoroughly tested SciFinder with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 6, through Update 20.  To learn more about the plug-in and download the most current version.

Macintosh

For Mac OS X 10.4, CAS recommends Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6.

• Visit the Apple 10.4 download site.

For Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, CAS recommends using the default JRE installed by Apple or these updates:
