A free Java plug-in is required to use the structure drawing editor in the web version of SciFinder.

Windows

CAS has thoroughly tested SciFinder with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 6, through Update 14.  To learn more about the plug-in and download the most current version, visit the Java web site.

Macintosh

For Mac OS X 10.4, CAS recommends Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6, which is available at www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/javaformacosx104release6.html.

For Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, CAS recommends using the default JRE installed by Apple.
