- More than 830,000 searchable Markush structures from patents covered by CAS from 1961 to the present - 11/10
- More than 330,000 displayable citations for the Markush structure-containing patents - 12/09
- Records from 1961-1987 derived from INPI data
- Displayable information includes bibliographic data, abstract, and CAS indexing
Coverage
- All countries whose patent offices are covered in the CA file are candidates for MARPAT indexing. As of 2009, MARPAT now includes Korea.
- Not included: Alloys, metal oxides, inorganic salts, intermetallics, and polymers
Update frequency
- Updated daily with approximately 60-75 patent citations and 150-200 Markush structures
