SciFinder also includes MEDLINE - references to journal articles discussing biomedicine.
You can quickly locate references to published articles covering a wide variety of biomedical topics.
MEDLINE, produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), has more than 17 million references that cover all areas in the field of biomedicine:
More than 99% of MEDLINE references are selected from journal articles. 75% of MEDLINE's references represent publications in the English language. Abstracts are available for approximately 50% of the MEDLINE references. Records added before 1975 do not have abstracts.
Approximately 14,000 references are added to MEDLINE each week.
