Requirements
Candidates must have:
- 3-5 years of product management experience including brand management activities and P&L ownership
- Experience in the information industry preferred with knowledge of CAS and its products a plus
- Degree in chemistry, life science, or related discipline preferred; MBA a plus
- Demonstrate creativity, sound financial and business acumen, strong communication and cross-functional leadership, and multiple facets of marketing skills and experience
Duties
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to do the following:
- Ideal candidate will have technical aptitude, business acumen, leadership traits to drive team activities via peer relationships, a self-driven nature, a talent to astutely create marketing material, and excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral)
- Experienced in working with technology companies to develop go-to-market strategies and solutions messaging to cultivate business relationships and accelerate sales
- Demonstrated success in the development of competitive messages and deploying them through customer proof points in collateral, web, and events
- Experienced in creating a range of marketing documents including white papers, solutions briefs, web-site content, presentations, marketing promotional literature, sales tools, and training material.
- Adept at communicating the advantages and benefits of companys products and solutions to prospects, customers, and partners
- Successful track record of managing financial responsibility, driving market-focused initiatives, and exceeding targets
