In 2007, CAS celebrated its 100th year of serving chemists and other scientists around the world. We invite you to browse through this web site. We hope we have provided an intriguing snapshot of the scientific endeavors of the previous century. As the boundaries between scientific disciplines have dissolved, more researchers working on new interdisciplinary fronts have found CAS information vitally relevant to their needs. Over the decades, CAS databases have reflected the progress of science, and we have continuously enhanced our search services so research scientists and information professionals can find and use this information to best advantage.
